The Acorn 130 Superglide is the latest evolution of Acorn’s original straight stairlift. Built around tried and trusted technology, its design and operation has been continuously improved and refined to offer everything you need in a home stairlift and nothing you don’t. It’s slimline design makes it ideal for narrow staircases. The seat, arms and footrest all fold neatly away when not in use, letting others pass on the stairs.
SPEEDY INSTALLATION AND LONG LIFE
An Acorn Straight Stairlift is typically installed in less than two hours, with no fuss, mess or disruption. As with all Acorn Stairlifts, the single rail is fixed securely to the stairs, not the wall, so you won’t need to redecorate. Properly maintained, your Acorn Stairlift should give you many years’ reliable service. Each new design is tested to a minimum of 25,000 return journeys – equivalent to more than eight years’ continuous use based on eight return journeys per day.

The Acorn 130 Straight has all the features you need in a straight stairlift and none that you don’t. When not in use it can be neatly folded away so that others in your household, or visitors to your home, can continue to use the stairs. Reliable DC power from rechargeable batteries in the stairlift carriage mean you’ll never be left stranded in a power cut. The maximum user weight of the Acorn 130 is 300lbs (19.9st), but a Heavy Duty version is available with an uprated capacity of 350lbs (25st).
